Shadows Image 15mins playing with gouache on blue craft paper – not the best surface but it was handy – or I was just impatient
Painting on scrapbook paper Image I find now that painting on this paper is a good solution to establishing values. On a white surface I would either tone it or quickly put down colour to get rid of the white. Still learning with gouache
