Basic setup for gouache – includes three colours plus white, brushes, two coloured pencils (red and blue) for outlines, tin palette + lid, blue painters tape, collapsible water cup, plastic rod (mahl stick), paper towels/rag, and a ring bound hot pressed 140lb sketchbook.
Primary red-blue-yellow plus white gouache on my sprayed tin palette and finding out what colours I can blend.Putting them in the sketchbook – I was trying to reduce my plain air kit to bare minimum. We will see what happens.
Yellow – Cyan – Red – White gouache. Old tin pencil box sprayed white.10 mins later – surface is good for mixing paint – I can incorporate this mixing area and lid into my pochade box.
